Hmm I have this weird hypocritical attitude towards expressing fandom in pubic places… I strongly believe that you shouldn’t shame what you love or yourself for liking it (as long as it’s a safe thing of course), because what’s the point in liking something if you don’t have pride in it? But I get easily second-hand embarrassed when I see fandom in school. Just today I saw a girl with a mask of a character from OFF and (it didn’t look like she was bothering people but) it kinda got on my nerves. It’s not as bad as that time her friends sang happy birth day to a Homestuck character but hmmmmmmmmmm.

I hate saying it like this but I think there are places and times to show off fandom but that isn’t school, especially in showy ways?? Still this girl wasn’t doing anything special she just had it on her head in the hallways. aaaaah these feelings are really dumb like if its not harmful or bothersome why should I care it’s none of my business. I don’t know why it gets to me so much.
